'Last Of The Heather''was inspired by a recent Autumnal trip through the Coquet Valley in Northumberland U.K. My style is to abstract colour to induce an emotional response . 
The painting is mixed media on a cradled wood panel in a floating wood frame. It is finished with a satin varnish.
